The Adopted Child

We had a sermon today from one of our ministers on adoption and the service was about giving children without hope, hope.

One day he told us he was asking God about why He created the world, and he received a clear image of parent/s with three children, of which one was adoped. The message was that they had reached out to the child to adopt out of agape love. The answer to the minister's question was that God although He could live in Heavenly bliss with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, He chose to adopt us, even though we might be hard work and trouble, and so bring us from a state of hopeless to hope.
