The Aliens Who Couldn't Understand Why We All Didn't Use An Interstellar Communication Device

I went to morning service for a change. It was, this time focused on the kids, a roundup of a week long summer camp which involved play, bible stories, art and crafts. The theme was space and we watched an entertaining play about two aliens who interrupt Church to find out about an interstellar communication device. They understand it to be something called prayer and it enables us to speak to our Maker. The lady who greets them is confused at first and when she hears that this device is not some high-tech gadget but merely prayer then she agrees that they should see it first hand.

Then they ask whether all people use this intersellar communication device that enables them to speak to God. The lady, awkwardly says no. The aliens are confused, they ask us why we don't always use the interstellar communication device. The lady tells them that not all people choose to. The aliens are confused.

I mean why when we have the ability to speak to God do we not ALL do it?

This is the theme of the sketch and the aliens leave thinking we are stupid to not all use prayer when we can talk to God with it...

Father I am so glad that I can talk to you about everything.
