Blessings in Meetings

More than once I have found myself meeting people, that I have felt was orchestrated by God. Meetings with people and the kindness they bestow are gifts in themselves.

The most poignant time was when one of my close friends died just over a year ago, in a traffic accident. I had bought some flowers for the roadside, they were lovely flowers and as I was driving to the place to lay them, I was thinking these are really lovely flowers it seems a shame that they will die by the roadside.

A couple were there looking at the tributes, it so happened that they were her parents, and we chatted a little and they asked me if they could take my flowers because they were fresh and pass them onto to a relative. I was also able to recount that I had been with my friend less than a week prior to the incident and that it had been a lovely day with her, I was also able to tell thenm how instrumental she had been in bringing me back to God. It seemed the very little I could do that they would have this nice memory and revelation to hold onto.

She was a very special girl.
