The Lambchop Peeks Through the Gap in the Curtains...

... When I started my blog, part of my motivation was to keep a recorded account of my journey since my return to God, my beautiful Father, I didn't want to forget anything He had done for me. And, He has really really looked after me. And, I am protected, happy and whole.

That I came to write at all about my experiences in a blog format was I think influenced by a lovely blogger called Anita whose writing I became aware of when we both were briefly at the same Church and who wrote about a subject which at the time affected us both... and so it is at least in part because of her that The Prodigal Lambchop exists at all...

And so it has been a very reflective personal journey for me, it has also proven to be a way, that I can think about Him more, to allow the newer purer input of the Holy Spirit to reflect in my writing  and I have also had the hope that if people do stumble on my pages, that some good will come out of it that may cause someone to have hope, or find edifying. But I find myself wanting to be a bit more sociable now, wanting to hear a little more about what other bloggers have to say about their experiences with God and so basically I am now peeking through the gap in my blogging curtains, happy to start finding about what others experiences' are...

  1. Hi Louise. Thanks much.

I have a few interesting bloggers on my blog roll. I would recommend Ann Voskamp aholyexperience.com strongly. Ebuzzing and Technorati and Invesp have lists of the most quoted religion bloggers. Basically, start with someone you like, check out their blogrolls, and then the blogrolls of those on their blogrolls, and go on until you find 10 or 15 people you find consistently inspiring or who make you think.

Part of the fun of blogging is building a virtual community of blog friends-- I think you will enjoy this:-)
